After about 30 minutes of fighting the motor, she went in. It is by far the tightest swap I have done yet to date. The transmission hits the firewall while the harmonic balancer sits on the core support. I ended up pulling the core support back and she plopped right in. I used the Zerolift (Zerodrift, HeroTits, Etc..) mounting brackets with solid ka replacement mounts. The fronts fit okay (they needed persuasion with some drilling) and the transmission bracket kinda fits like shit. I think I'm going to have to cut and re-weld it. So far, so good... I guess.. A lot more work ahead of me before she fires up.
