Frustration.

I always try to tell myself, never expect things to go as easy as you had planned. It seems like it's constantly one thing after another. First, I dropped an injector and shattered the pintle cap on it. I feel like it's impossible to find one for a car that's not even made in America. I'm sure some sort of top feed Japanese injector that we have in the states will work, it's just a matter of finding it. 2 weeks of searching and nothing yet. Secondly, I jumped the gun on trading for these injectors. I didn't realize that they were low impedance. I searched and searched for a GT-R resistor box and couldn't find one. I eventually talked to my tuner Dave Blundell and he mentioned just running a V6 Legend resistor box. Of course, why didn't I think of that? A resistor box is a resistor box, right? Lastly, I had hoped for cracking 400 rwhp on my setup. My turbo is plenty efficient for it, but after doing a bit more research, I can only barely achieve that power with my injectors on 100% duty cycle. I'm not really wanting to stress anything or even overshoot my power goals, so I guess I'm just going to run less boost and deal with whatever I get. ...Or should I just get new bigger injectors?

Assembly begins.

I felt the need to start assembling misc. parts out of boredom. Hopefully the mounts will be here next month along with an engine closely following.

Sometimes, you just need to be absurd.

This summer should be good..

It all starts with a simple chassis. She may not be much now, but she's getting there. Why is it that guys find such entertainment in cars?
